Long Island Aquarium Announces Full Lineup of Fall and Holiday Events

From Halloween to Fish & Sips, Santa Brunch and a family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration, seasonal events return to the Aquarium October through December.

RIVERHEAD, NY, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Long Island Aquarium is gearing up for a busy season of special events, with celebrations planned from October
through New Year’s Eve. Events include Halloween favorites, an after-hours craft beverage tasting, Princess Tea Party, Santa Brunch and Fishes & Wishes, the Aquarium’s annual family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration.

“Some of our favorite events of the year happen during the fall and holiday season,” said Bryan DeLuca, Executive Director of Long Island Aquarium. “From Halloween fun to Santa Brunch and ringing in the New Year at Fishes & Wishes, these events have become traditions for so many families, and we look forward to welcoming them back each year.”

The season kicks off in October with two Halloween favorites before transitioning into a busy November and December holiday calendar.

Not-So-Scary Haunted Tree House
Every Friday & Saturday in October, October 2–31 • 7pm–9pm • Weather permitting
Be afraid—but not too afraid. The Not-So-Scary Haunted Tree House returns with five levels of family-friendly Halloween fun. Climb 62 steps to the top as you make your way through the spooky Tree House, then enjoy pumpkin decorating, animal interactions, crafts, arcade games, and more throughout the surrounding outdoor area.
Admission is $25 per person, with one parent admitted free with a paid child.

Bats, Barnacles & Broomsticks Halloween Party • Saturday, October 24 • 10am–4pm
Celebrate Halloween, Aquarium-style. Children ages 12 and younger who arrive in costume receive 50% off admission with a paying adult. Throughout the day, children can gather sweets and treats, visit vendor tables featuring giveaways and raffle prizes, and see some of the Aquarium's animals enjoy Halloween treats of their own. Halloween Party activities are included with Aquarium admission.

LI Bridal Expo Super Show • Sunday, November 1 • 12pm–3:30pm
The LI Bridal Expo Super Show brings more than 50 wedding professionals together, including photographers, videographers, florists, bands, DJs, invitation specialists, limousine companies, and more. The evening also includes food tasting, live DJ showcase, prizes and giveaways.
Admission is $20 at the door or $10 when reserved in advance.

Fish & Sips – Annual Wine, Beer & Craft Beverage Tasting Event • Friday, November 13 • 7pm –10pm
The Aquarium's popular after-hours tasting event returns with more than 20 local wineries, breweries and other craft beverage makers. Guests can sample and purchase selections while enjoying live music, light fare, and the Aquarium after hours.
Tickets are $95 per person and the event is for guests ages 21 and older. Overnight packages are also available at the adjacent Hyatt Place Long Island/East End.

Holiday Princess Tea Party • Sunday, November 15 • Seatings at 10 am and 12:30 pm
Young princes and princesses can dress for the occasion and enjoy an afternoon with some of their favorite princesses. The event includes singing and dancing along with formal white-glove tea service in the Sea Star Ballroom, featuring finger sandwiches and sweets.
Tickets are $55 for adults ages 13 and older, $49 for children ages 3–12, and $10.35 for children ages 2 and younger.

Santa Brunch • Sunday, December 13 • Seatings at 10 am, 12pm and 2 pm
A Long Island Aquarium holiday tradition returns with Santa Brunch in the waterfront Sea Star Ballroom. Families can enjoy a traditional brunch, make a craft, and meet Santa, plus spend time exploring the Aquarium before or after their seating. All-day Aquarium admission is included with the brunch fee.
Tickets are $78 for adults ages 13 and older, $42 for children ages 3–12, and $10.35 for children ages 2 and younger.

Fishes & Wishes New Year's Eve Party • Thursday, December 31 • 6:30pm–11 p.m.
The Aquarium's annual Fishes & Wishes family-style celebration includes a cocktail hour, DJ and dancing, children's craft, animal encounters and meet-and-greets, buffet dinner with beer and wine for adults, dessert and ice cream bar, and the Aquarium's signature mock-midnight toast.

Tickets are $155 for adults ages 13 and older, $94 for children ages 3–12, and $10.35 for children ages 2 and younger.
All event prices are plus tax. Long Island Aquarium members save 10%. A 3.5% discount is available on purchases made exclusively in cash.
